VMZINC Class

Students will be familiarized with common double lock Euro details and techniques in a ‘hands on’ environment. All class participants will receive a certificate of completion from VM and be placed on a preferred contractor list for any work that comes up in their area.

Day one:
A PowerPoint at the beginning of class with the history and do's and dont's with zinc.
Detail modeling of several common details including:
Euro eave detail
Bread pan detail
Pinched seam detail
Solder demonstration

Day two:
Incorporate all information from day one into a ‘hands on’ installation training including common eave, rake, headwall, chimney and skylight flashings.
